Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 27, 2026

IdentityKit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our mobile application and this website.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • An anonymous account identifier created through Firebase Authentication so subscriptions, security checks, and optional AI features can work
  • No name or email is required to use the app. If you contact us, we receive the email address you use to write to us

Habits, check-ins, and notes stay on your device. They are not automatically uploaded or backed up to our servers.

Habit and User Content

  • Habit names, descriptions, categories, and goals
  • Check-ins, notes, reminder settings, and progress you create in the app

This information is stored on your device to provide habit tracking. It is not synced to a cloud database.

Health & Apple Health (Optional)

  • Steps, walking and running distance, exercise activity, sleep, and other metrics you explicitly authorize

Health data is read locally only if you grant access, and you can revoke it in iOS Settings. It is not used for marketing or advertising.

Subscriptions & Payments

  • Information needed to verify Pro or credit purchases
  • Payments are handled by the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details

Technical Information

  • App version, device language, and locale
  • Crash and diagnostic reports that help keep the app reliable
  • Security verification data (App Check)

AI Feature Data

  • If you use AI insights or habit design, the habit context you request is sent to our servers to generate a response

Do not include sensitive personal details in AI prompts. We do not sell your personal or tracking data.

2. How We Use Data

  • Provide habit tracking on this device
  • Authenticate the anonymous account
  • Deliver local reminders you schedule
  • Process subscriptions through the App Store
  • Generate AI insights and habit design when you ask
  • Improve reliability, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate the app: Google Firebase (anonymous authentication, App Check, diagnostics), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Apple App Store (distribution and payments), Google Cloud (AI processing), and Expo. These providers process information according to their own policies. Firebase is not used as a cloud copy of your habits.

Health data from Apple Health is accessed only with your permission. It is not sold, used for marketing or advertising, or shared as a Health archive with third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or tracking data. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, to process store payments, to provide AI features you request, to comply with the law, or to protect the security of users and the service.

5. Your Rights

You can export or delete your data in Settings. Deleting your account removes the anonymous Firebase user and wipes local data on that device. Subscriptions must be managed separately in the App Store. You can revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings.

IdentityKit is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted on this page and in the app, with a revised Last Updated date.
